Cottington Lakes’ “50” Club celebrates those anglers who have landed a carp at over 50lbs from Cottington Lakes (currently Cottington’s “Big Girl” in Lake Pepper) either by luck, guile or a little of both…

Karl Eastley, with Cottington’s “Big Girl”, landed on Saturday 20th May 2017 from Peg 1 using Mainline Blackcurrant Liquorice wafters. Weight 52lbs 10oz.

James Hadley with the “Big Girl” at 51lbs 12oz, caught at 6.30am on the 28th May 2016, from peg 6 on Lake Pepper. James was the fourth angler to land this stunning fish at over 50lbs;

Alan Pinner landed the “Big Girl” on the afternoon of Wednesday 4th May 2016. Landed from peg 7 using a P-nut+ boilie with a pink topper. And the weight … 51lbs 1oz.

Paul Morley landed the Big Girl on the 6th June 2017 from peg 16 using CV Baits Pepper Bait Nutto and tackle. And the weight… 51lbs 6oz.

Anthony Tuttle landed the Big Girl on the 4th October 2017 from peg 13 using a bed of bonoffe twist with a cell hook bait and a yellow pot shot tipper. And the weight… a whopping 53lbs 4oz (current lake/fishery record.)

David Harden landed the Big Girl at 9pm on the 4th March 2019, her first showing of the year. David landed her from peg 10 weighing in at 51lbs 6oz.

Dale Crowson with his entry into the 50 Club, this lovely 53lbs Mirror, landed from Peg 1 on Old Pepper on the 16th July 2019. And no!! Its not the Big Girl.
