The first of a planned phased installation of new swims, swim 10, on Pepper Lake is now complete. The first phase will see improvements to swims 9 – 12 and swim 16. Completion of this work is anticipated by the autumn of this year. We hope that the new swims will enable anglers to keep their bivvies and equipment clean and drier, particularly during the winter months.
Our thanks go to Craig Link who was generous enough to allow us to finish the swim whilst he was fishing and for getting stuck in and helping with its completion. All that hard work paid off for Craig, who had the distinction of being the first to fish from the new swim, and who quickly beat his PB from swim 10, before moving to swim 9 and beating it for a second time within 24 hours.
Congratulations and we look forward to seeing you at Cottington Lakes again in the future.
