Amongst the anglers fishing the Dave Wall Memorial competition were Kia Dyer and dad Mark. Over the 48 hours of the competition and in challenging conditions, they persevered but unfortunately without so much as a bite. So with Lake Pepper free for a couple of hours before the next bookings were due on, Kia, dad Mark and bailiff Ian Cannon had a little walk around.
With the wildfowl now gone and able to fish off the top, Kia landed a brace of 30s in the space of 20 minutes. First up was this lovely 31lbs 8oz Mirror;
And then after a quick move to another peg, this cracking Mirror weighing in at 32lbs 10oz;
What a difference a matters of a few hours and a change of tactics can make!!
