Its not always about the biggest fish, its about a passion for the surroundings and for the fish, no matter what the size, and the pleasure derived from them by anglers and their guests. And this is definitely the case for Vince Kemp, who despite being relatively new to coarse fishing is fast becoming a regular on Cottington’s banks. Most recently Vince can be found on Black Lake which is a personal favourite of his, due to the features and the challenges that the lake has to offer.
His most recent stint left him with 18 fish on the bank (when last we spoke to him) including this beautifully coloured Common;
Weighing 9lbs 8oz, Vince landed this lovely fish using a size 10 hook and his favourite tutti fruity hook bait in tandem with a pva bag filled with broken boilies.
Congratulations Vince, we look forward to seeing you down here again soon.
